Well this looks promising. I do question why I paid so much to join this forum, I don't mind supporting it, but if it only costs £200-300 to run per annum, surely at £10 per person it becomes a profit making venture, which I don't necessarily agree with. Hence, I think if EVERYONE paid £3 it would be more viable and £5 might come across as too much to join a forum for some people?

I don't think anyone would resent paying £3 for a year's membership, but it needs to be easy. If it's just sign up, redirected to PayPal page, put in username and password, click OK, done - that'd be fine. Part of the problem is that if people have to sit around waiting for days for membership to be approved it'll put them off.

Who are these people and why don't they talk?! Is there some kind of secret page somewhere I've missed? I'd love to know more about these people!

I bet one of them reads this and still dont say anything, they just sit at their computer and go red a bit, type something in the comment box and then delete it, then type something else, then delete that and log off.

Ok, the first person, mentioned above, to post something on this thread gets a 'romantic' date with Soulman. Yes

So we just learned that 59 is about the maximum number of people the forum can handle, right?

It's these hidden people that make it unable to connect to the forum.

Big shout out to naiwick, nearly 3 years since signing up and no posts

No Jimmy any more though I notice. Oh well, that's that then. I now know what it's like when people on desert islands see ships go past in the distance without noticing them.

What a f*cking hero you are. Now the cold hard reality of your life comes crashing down when you look out the window of your parents house and think did I really spend all that on a 306, oh and your membership fee too.
