m306 - I also thought I would be low boost for a long time. When I was building it I thought surely I could never get bored of 260bhp in my '6'.Within 6 months parts were being bought and a new engine built ready for high boost... It's like an addiction and once you've upgraded it doesn't take long before you need a larger dose to get the same buzz. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Just 6 months, wow that's not long. I hope I can resist the temptation for atleast a year. I can understand the need for more power and how addictive it is, my original plan was to leave it completely standard but that lasted just one week when I got Rich's pulleys. It's a shame your not taking yours to pugfest this year, I'd love to see it. As far as I know you and me are the only 2 using blue masks ________________________________________ supercharged China gti6 - Thu 16th Sep 1999 - sold2010 megane rs250 |

Surely even without taking the 6 you should still go? Maybe you could do like Pugplus and wear a named shirt so people know who you are to thank you for all the help, like Pugplus ________________________________________ supercharged China gti6 - Thu 16th Sep 1999 - sold2010 megane rs250 |

I am planning to make an appearance at Pugfest, obviously, just not with the car.My daily drive is my work van, I don't really need anything else. I must admit, after I haven't driven the '6' for a while, when I get back in it, it does take some getting used to!! I'll bear the "name" t-shirt in mind mate... ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

I don't think I could do that with mine, it would break if sat that long actually it breaks anytime. I thinks it's best for your hearing that you don't use it as much ________________________________________ supercharged China gti6 - Thu 16th Sep 1999 - sold2010 megane rs250 |

I really dont see why you wouldnt have a custom exhaust built for a low boosted 6 rather than buy an off the shelf pipeSorry but really not a fan of the blue masks either ________________________________________ ''Oh, it does handle like a golf!'' Why drive a Golf....when you can drive a GTi-6? |

I was tempted to go for a custom built exhaust with mine before I opted for the jetex. I can understand going custom because then you can have a system that is the exact spec that you are after, it can be hard to find an off the shelf one to suit specific requirements, I think________________________________________ supercharged China gti6 - Thu 16th Sep 1999 - sold2010 megane rs250 |

strangely, i found my car failing the MOT with my sports CAT, could only get through with a normal CAT.so even with a sports CAT, i was no better off legally than using a decat. Sadly £290 down the drain as i think mine has just gone. Oh well, time to get a decat me thinks ________________________________________ Team allesclar ® |
