I do think that if you are going to the expense of having a supercharger conversion it makes sense to go decat and get the most out of the setup as you can really. Yes

This is true, however a lot of 205's were made before 1992 so I would have thought it would be fairly easy to pick up one which requires no CAT to be used.

from my conclusion and experience.

a super charger setup should ONLY consist of a decat and not a normal cat or sports cat.

/end

Best bet is to Ask around your friends to see if they are close to anybody that does mot testing.

I can put the Magnex centre section back on and remove the straight through and this quietens it down to 98dB. This is the setup I have to run for the track as otherwise its too loud. Yes

But without the straight through centre section it doesn't pop and bang all the time. Sad

Lmao its true, due to the way decibels work it also means its like 50% louder as its logarithmic.

Certainly is true, and I'm sure everyone who has heard it in its straight through form will agree...LOL

i thought it was, every 3dB it was twice as loud

which makes yours pretty loud, does it not do you head in when driving?

It is extremely loud and it does get to you after a while if you're doing a constant 70-80mph on the motorway...

However, when you're out in the countryside or mountain terrain and you've got the noise bouncing around from different locations it sounds immense. The best sound is inside a tunnel. With the driver's window down, going through a tunnel at full chat is almost the same sound you get when an F1 car goes through the Monaco tunnel! Devil

That's when its really an awesome sounding exhaust choice. Yes
