Fair play to get under 1000kgs bud but just bare in mind you need to get the car corner weighed and balanced as its easy to have a skittish rear end. Worth going to a proper Motorsport place and asking about corner weighing with you in the car best money i ever spent Yes

Glad you enjoyed it mate even though you did let out a couple of screams LOL Got a couple of snaps while waiting on you Cool

Then when i went to the metro centre with my lass i came across these coconut M&Ms Razz

You shouldnt take that 'calibrated' sticker too seriously to be honest, chances are they testers just came in and dumped a load of dead weight on the scales and checked it was reading within tolerances LOL

I do that s**t for a living but in doctors surgeries.....

Well i hope its ok as its my mates dads company where it is and they have wagons and road sweepers in and out everyday that need to be weighed before going out on the roads as he nearly got a hefty fine for having a wagon overloaded so he is very strict on what goes out of the yard now.

Thanks mate i will bare this in mind. When i was at knockhill the other month it was spot on round corners and breaking ect, rear brakes are just about done in now so back end is abit skippy now and then. Still got a few other bits and bobs to do yet to get it ready for croft next month

Had a couple of things to sort out yesterday to get the car ready for croft next weekend. My middle box somehow got a nice crack in it so was blowing like hell! had that all welded up but think i will remove it at some point for a straight through pipe. Also repainted my o/s calliper as it was scratched to hell off when i lost a calliper bolt when i went to knockhill then fitted some new discs and pads thanks to russ Thumbs up
Think tomorrow i will remove a few more wiring and switches from the dash and may relocate my hazard button, cut off switch and battery but depends on how much time i have.
I have gnrlee doing me some carbon mirror covers at the min, He only recieved them thismorning and got cracking straight away Thumbs up

Was out with my mate in his old school mini... has a oversized rover metro turbo engine is Cool he is just running it in still at the minute but it sounds like a rally car with his straight cut box Devil

And what do you lot think of my new ramps Big grin

Laugh my ass off @ cutting holes everywhere, I thought I was bad.

I hope you kept all the metal bits to weigh up at the end, so come on, how much did it save you?

I had mine weighed at 1070 with my old half cage. With the additions it will be up to about 1090 I would say.

Guess cage weighs about 40kg.

Think i will go for an omp cage after holiday then save up over the winter for more power. Supercharged or jenveys, cans, head, pisons ect... Cant decide. Suppose a charger is easyer and more reliable tho

£3500 either way will see arounx the 250bhp mark, all depends on how much work you want to do to get there?

Know that one!

I bought Jenveys etc, then decided to sell them on. Lot more bang for buck with a 'charger but then again, think I would prefer bodies/cams etc for track work, plus the noise Love
