Alright everyone Wave guess i just cant stay away from this place. 1 306 D.Turbo, 2 306 GTi6's, 1 306 GTi6 Track toy, 1 306 Rallye and a 306 HDI down and i have yet another 306 GTi6 Laugh my ass off
I tried going german with an audi S3 but that was just nothing but hassle day in day out!!! so thats sat in my shed in bits Whistle

Well anyway onto my return. I was bored of trying to find something else i would enjoy and i did try buying a phase 1 306 v6 on ebay but the bloke was just taking the p*ss so i spotted this Astor GTi6 want needed abit engine work and though ahh f*ck it, a new Project Big grin i always manage to keep you lot amused by the amount of engines i go through Thumbs up
So i bought it and managed to drive it home alright. Whipped the head off and noticed the piston has been touching the head ever so slightly on cylinder 2 bending the inlet valves. Job is to either rebuild this engine or buy a new one but i have already sourced a cheap engine from a lad on here so will be getting one as a spare. not sure what one to use as a spare yet but al see when the time comes.

Ordered a few parts over the past couple of days, some have turned up and still waiting on others:

BakerBM solid lower engine mount
GE Quickshift
OMP upper strut brack
Lowering springs
CDA Carbon enclosed air box
Ash Silicone 90oC bend
Black masked headlights
Aero wiper blades
8k HID kit

Yet to buy:
Engine (nearly ready to collect)
Crank
Uprated shells (rich_w)
TD Pro 1.2's
Standard p3 rear spoiler
Front splitter (standard or megane)

Here is a few pics of how it looks at the minute.

Awful spoiler what will be remover!

Nice buy looking forward to the progress!

Slightly OT but those cold air feed induction kits from the fog light, are they worth it over standard? Toying with the idea of A feed myself for the summer

It wont be going to the fog light, it will be going into the air duct on the front slam panel. Planning on something like this:

Also just ordered some rallye blanks and trying to find a front splitter. May just have to go for a megane or laguna splitter

Yes mate everything i have ordered has came:

BakerBM solid lower engine mount
GE Quickshift
OMP upper strut brack
Lowering springs - FITTED
CDA Carbon enclosed air box
Ash Silicone 90oC bend
Black masked headlights - FITTED
Aero wiper blades - FITTED
8k HID kit - FITTED

Just trying to find a good engine now. Just want one i can throw straight in. Fed up of waiting and can not be bothered with a rebuild just yet. Will save that for another day.

Stripping will come in the next month or 2 once i get the car back on the road. What size are your pro 1.2's Chris? I am looking at buying some 15" ones off chrisd306
