Here is the updates with pics Cool This is how the car looked on the way to perth to see chris for my new wheels

Finally made it to Lawson's garage and after having a bit crack with chris and having a look at his rallye whats looking class, some work gone into that thing like Big grin we decided to fit my wheels what he had so kindly fitted some brand new Yokohama paradas and balanced them for me. after finally pealing the bird shit off my back window with a stanley blade Laugh my ass off we then gave my 6 a quick wash.

Got home around 7pm and picked up my rallye top glove box from daver6 so decided to pull the airbad out today and fit that aswell, cars coming along quite quickly now Big grin also i have my fuel lines and rail to go on, just waiting on my braded fuel line ends coming to i can get them fitted

Cut off pull cable fitted, just not connected up yet. also cut off switch is in but also not yet wired up

Got the braded lines from AS Performance. Lad I know runs it, they mainley deal with imprezas, evos and cossies. Still waiting on the ends coming as they don't have much stock in at the minute as they are refurbing theie unit. Think it cost me about 15quid a meter

Thanks mate I liked the cyclones too but Love the 1.2s Big grin and they cyclones will be no good for when I get my brembos tomorrow. Cool
Once I have th brembos fitted I am going to replace everything on the frot so it should drive like new. Rose joint drop links, Rose joint ball joints Wink rose joint track rod ends, new whee bearings, new arb bushes, roer bearing bottom arm bushes and that should just about cover everything then. Once that's sorted then I can move onto the back axle.

Make sure you dont leave it long before you do rear axle. I have done most things to the front, but f*ck all to the rear. Now the front is rock solid, and the back is a bit soft.

Oversteeeeerrrrrr Laugh

I am looking to get an xsara rear axle soon, not sure if I should just fit that or just put TBs in my axle as the xsara axles are ment to have more camber and more toe but I can't realy afford to have any camber on the back with these tyres I have now. May even try making my own rear axle bushes, dnt look to be that hard Laugh my ass off

That wasn't me, that was a mate Laugh my ass off Well looking forwad to collecting my brembos today. Then on a bad note I think something on the front has gave in, I think it could well be a bal joint as when I put my foot down it pulls 1 way then when I et off it pulls the other, also getting a big knock what I m putting down to arb bushes! more money to be spent on pointless things i shouldn'T need to buy LOL

Picked up my Brembos yesterday, Not had the best of pink paint jobs on them but still LOL I will be giving them a clean and a coat of red paint. May even get them fitted today if there dry before I go to work. Also need to find time to fit my battery relocation kit. Battery is going in the boot for now till I get bucket seats and harnesses ordered but no hurry for that as I want to book up for a track day at croft on the 7th may. Also just ordered ball joints, drop links and track rod ends to tighten up the front a bit, might even throw in soe new wheel bearings just for piece of mind. Was thinking of doing rose joint drop links and ball joints but they can wait, I want some roller bearing wishbone bushes at some point aswell Big grin

what a deal!have you tested them out much.been in 6's with them on and the braking is insane.
did you have to use any adaptors or just simple bolt on?
clearance on 1.2 looks very tight .

Yes it is tight. the pro 1.2s are ford fitment so i have 20mm spacers on aswell. They are insane like, didnt think they would be much better than GTi6 brakes but they are a hell of a lot better Big grin They just bolt straight on off a 406 v6 and the discs are 288x28mm off an xantia v6 what are a straight fit aswell

No, just under light breaking i find it, When breaking hard there is no squeak. The only way i know anyone has stopped the squeal is with red stuff pads, I piled copper grease on the back of my pads, stopped it for a little while but it just came back after a while. I was thinking about seeing about making Some thin copper plates to put between the pads and pistons to see if that would work but am too lazy to try Laugh my ass off
Too be honest they aren't even that bad, only squeak now and then, not all the time

did you use the std rubber brake hoses, or did you have to use extended braided hoses?
