That's good power for the level of boost... how much boost are you giving it in total?________________________________________ Contact Details:rich@lynxpowerengineering.co.uk 07732 822546 |

If you run 14psi you've got to make close to 440bhp and matching torque. Keep us posted mate that's a great start for only half bar of boost ________________________________________ Super high boost Completed, destroyer of gearboxes and 160mph club |

welshpug! wrote: not really, you should see what Litchfields are getting from their stroked VR38DETT's on 7psi... That is meaningless and you're not comparing apples with apples. Considering the GTi -6 engine in standard form produces 167 BHP at atmospheric pressure (1 BAR), to then lower the compression and put a turbo in the exhaust and achieve 250 BHP at 1.5 BAR absolute is impressive. Your attitude and knowledge (or lack of it) really f#cks me off. ________________________________________ Contact Details:rich@lynxpowerengineering.co.uk 07732 822546 |

Just the way it went mate. Obviously as the revs come up then more boost comes in i think its a safer way to run the engine. Plus it needs mapped from 7 psi to 20 psi also.________________________________________ |

considering that was 250hp at f**k all rpm with 7psi thats very good going. Dont think the box and shafts would be loving 440bhp lol ________________________________________ Black power baby!
