Nice i would love to see this running. Tbh I laugh about how much people think it costs compared to a supercharged car. The engine work = the same as a sc, brakes = the same as a sc, suspention = the same as a sc, fuel system = the same as a sc, intercooler/pipework = the same as a sc. ECU = the same as a sc

The only difference is that on a sc car the charger costs roughly 1500quid and the mounting kit costs another 1500quid or so.

You can buy the dpengineering kit for 2.5k which would still be cheaper then the charger and mounting kit or you could buy seperatly. A turbo around 800quid, home brew manifold + downpipe 500-800quid and water/oil lines around 200quid? a dumpvalve? 200-300quid. internal wastegate costs nothing.

but then you do need experience or have someone around whos good with a welder and someone close by to do a custom remap.

So what are you both doing about a gearbox as the box's cant cope with the supercharge torque never mind the masses of torque that you should both be producing

For mine I'm going to put a lsd in it for now. Once its running(long way yet) then becarefull for a bit to make sure that everythings good. Once I'm happy that its running well and temperatures etc are all ok then I'll decide. I don't want to be paying 3k for a gearbox before I know the car is happy and running well.

There are a few motorsport companies from different countries who sell stronger closeratio kits I'll speak to them. It will also give people time to give the new dogshift kit a good spanking and see how that copes. There's several options available.

Fair enough, did you make the bottom 'hose' pipe yourself? Wouldn't wanna go into business and make a few more? Reduces risk and costs of a burst/ split hose (and I'd be keen Thumbs up)

Aw man that would cut prices so much! Would you be interested in making those top and bottom hoses cause I need me a new radiator and hoses because they are so blocked up with rust and stop leak (hate that stuff with a passion) and it seems like a pretty cool/reliable and easy change
