here are some pics of the new number plates and some better ones of the single wiper. i washed the car. took pictures, started polishing and ran out of rags then forgot to take pictures of the super shiny front.seeing as im off till crimbo i plan on getting this thing gleaming, inside and out. will buy rags 2moz and some nice wax and spend a good day making it spotless. ________________________________________ the world is changed by people in sheds |

But that numberplate, you might as well strap a rotting seal to the front, it'd do the same for the aesthetics. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

yeah all the panels sems a bit off. the things had a little rear end shunt somewhere in its life. guessign a few panels have been swapped. otherwise the paintworks pretty good. just gave it a deep clean inside and out. everywhere is waxed and sparkling. even under the boot lid and under door sils etc. proper james may style ________________________________________ the world is changed by people in sheds |

is there a lot of hate for phase ones on these forums? am i in the minority for prefering them?there something a little more retro about them which i like. hence adding the 205 gti wheels. im gonna get an old skool yellow 6 badge aswell. then again if i plan on a carbon fibre bonnet it wont be very retro ________________________________________ the world is changed by people in sheds |

matt evans wrote: How much (cost wise) are you into this now? £5k?? Now now, dont make this about money. There are lots more people on this forum (myself included) that have spent more than £5k on their old french shit tin, so this is no different ________________________________________ Chris1999 China Gti6 Supercharged [Fun car] >>Project Thread<< 2000 Bianca 306 Diesel [Work runabout] |

Hang on....there isn't a lot of hate for P1's in this forum, it's a purists forum (rather than a pro-mod one) admittedly. But let's just check i've got this straight, first off you moved you're number plate, which apparantly has a grill behind it (although first i've heard and an odd place for the pug engineers to put a grill originally clearly this was in the original design so can't see how it's an issue)...but now you've fitted a huge square number plate to the side which is clearly blocking part of the lower grill (which IS meant to have clear airflow)....? Is there something i'm missing Sort the plate back to standard (or it just looks like a standard car that's a bit low with a dodgy plate) and it'll look great ________________________________________ "Rules are for the interpretation of wisemen and the obedience of fools" (Colin Chapman, Lotus founder) |

Look better to one side, but still not a fan. The one above though, love that car! ________________________________________ Chris1999 China Gti6 Supercharged [Fun car] >>Project Thread<< 2000 Bianca 306 Diesel [Work runabout] |
