Good question. Perhaps it has something to do with the membership fee.It still amazes me that some people are too pikey to pay £5... ________________________________________ Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak. |

Perhaps because the vehicle classifieds section is looked at less than the listed forum view with comments. But probably because they make more on other sites than what current members are prepared to pay. ________________________________________ |

the classified section is bound to be scrapped soon so we can just go back to the normal threads in cars for sale section. anyone visiting the forum won't even see the classified section atall because it's not advertsied within the forum________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

The problem with the old one is people just couldn't help themselves and spammed the hell out of peoples threads with their opinions even though the rules state this shouldn't happen. I am as guilty as anyone of this so I think the classifieds section is far better for the seller and buyer.I also don't see a problem with people joining to sell their cars. If I wanted to buy a 6, I wouldn't care if they had 1 post or 10,000 posts, it would still be good to have this site as first point of call to look for one. ________________________________________ Less than 24 hours to go! |

It's a mistake imo not having the old cars for sale part still active in the new forum. ________________________________________ 1999 Astor Grey GTi-6 OEM+ (now gone...)2004 Aegean Blue 206 GTi 180 (also gone...) 2006 Skoda Fabia vRS in Sprint Yellow honestly3k wrote: Do you wrestle for a living matt? all that is needed is in parts/cars for sale, the ability to post your thread with correct info and lock it yourself. a bit more control over your own threads wouldn't go amiss________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

on seat cupra.net when you advertise a car no one can reply to the ad unless through pm there for no spamming only problem with them was when i was looking i needed 15 posts before i could pm so i had to do 15 pointless post before i could ask anyone details on their cars!! i do believe the old cars for sale should be back where it was as i for one used to like looking through it and now i just can't be bothered.________________________________________ stevie09 308 gt140 cc 03 octavia vrs IF IT AIN'T BROKE, IT AIN'T A GTI6 |

It was quite useful for certain comments. Someone could ask about say the Cambelt and when it was last changed. Then when the seller says '25k ago, in 2003' you can click X and carry on. Saves numerous PMs with similar questions, and prompts random delves of info that you otherwise may have missed. 'what size are those wheels?' 'oh they arent included, but are for 200 extra. That reminds me, black masks were removed 2 years ago. Il get new recent pics later when ive had chance to go to the bank' ________________________________________ |

But there was always loads of useless posts like "GLWS" and "ooh that's too expensive" etc.....and quite often the thread would be hijacked and ruined. ________________________________________ Less than 24 hours to go! |

No different than any other thread on this forum then. I think Rikky raises a good point about having it laid out like before, with the ability to be able to lock and unlock to make amendments. ________________________________________ |

Im an admin on SXOC (lots of users) and we have open F/S threads, we just moderate them. No disrespect to the site admins here but a couple of moderators and a "report post" facility would do a world of good, if anyone is posting crap just delete it. :thumbs:________________________________________ Lots of Nissans, two 306 GTI-6's. I'd say even the General section is getting like Tumble weed now too, As I've said before and I know I'm more unique than other's, I cannot see the point of paying to give advice as I rarely sold anything of huge value either, Yes If I was breaking car's etc then I would be fine paying.________________________________________ 306 Rallye Sptint/Race Car, 205 CTI 1.9 8v to name a fewRoad, Track and Race/Rally car preparation to your personal requirements, Full Workshop & Diagnostic Facilities New and Second parts, from Plugs to Turbo's We now also carry out Routine Servicing www.pugracing.com & FB Page, https://www.facebook.com/PugRacing Ebay; http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Pug-Racing-Shop 2012/2013/2014/2019 Class Winners at Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb & Joint overall, Class record too along the way, |
