I was planning on getting one and having it ceramic coated after Pugheaven told me his standard one had started to get a tad warm after some enthusiastic driving . Thumbs up

That could be a good idea. Although just re coating the old one would be adequate. Not as pretty mind.

Totally different mate may do for standard engine but the standard heat shield is flammable metal coated in ceramic is not. Stories of glowing red manifolds doesn't make me want to risk setting my engine bay on fire! No
