My battery linkage is having problems as the thread to the positive terminal is worn. Thus there is not a good connection to the battery. In addition the threaded connector on the battery is also not the best. Does anyone have both of these in good condition? Im located in south London. Angus |

Im still having problems finding this. I went to Halfords and they did not have a clue what I was talking about. I have searched the forums and the part number I need is 5615.49. Any ideas on where I could find one. Anyone breaking one? |

I'd just chop it off and fit a normal clamp from a motorfactor.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Sorry to bump an old thread, but my battery is pretty shagged and I can't get the bloody ring off to swap it with the new spare in my other car that gets trickle charged with a solar panel. Anyone have any tips on how to get your old one off as pug have not made these for a while... |

Cut the end off the battery cable, put a new clamp on it, remove old battery with old clamp stuck to it, fit new battery, tighten new clamp onto new battery.________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |

mocinim wrote: Now thats not rallye oem is it !IS IT ^ exactly! Decided to just say f**k it and drill the old battery post out as the thing couldn't even start the car, making it pretty useless haha Was a success, was stuck on there tight af though! Mocinim has managed to find some, so I'm getting a couple new ones. EDIT: god damn, giant images: http://imgur.com/a/PxorB |

that was f**ked anyway, so you probably ruined a decent battery just because the adapter is knackered and not making contact.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
