Are you looking to replace one?

I nearly had to do this for one of mine and think it was going to be about £90 for one wheel (16"Wink

Ahh ok Smile

Yeah as Ash has said, most 16" wheels with half decent spoke clearance should be enough.

I know that the TD 1.2's do though as Owain has them with the brakes you have.

As for buying them, not sure where is best to buy, I think they still sell them in Halfords Unsure

The Renault brembos used with Ash's 310mm fitting kit will need some material taken off the calipers to fit with some 16" wheels.

Spoke clearance isn't the issue, it's the inner rim clearance that's the problem on some wheels.

As said, no issues with PR 1.2's though.

Rich, the Brembo calipers are off another 306 GTI6 with PR 1.2, but the wheels I was going to buy use spacers and im not a fan of using spacers.

I would hold out for a set of second hand ones, or if you really want to treat yourself Ash is selling a mint set for something like £700 with really decent tyres! There direct fit too.

This Guy

Or he was, so drop him a pm

Yup, I got my set from Ash and he's got another mint set up for sale at the moment. Not only do they have nearly-new 888's on them, but he had them machined to the correct offset and centre bore, which TD do not sell off the shelf. I've seen them myself and they're in extremely good nick.

Plus TD 1.2's are the *only* wheels you need - light, strong and look awesome Yes

The company that makes Team Dynamics - Rimstock are in West Bromwich, west midlands and will sell to the general public.

Rimstock will machine any wheel to suit if you ask!!

Also in the west mids are Compomotive in Wolverhampton, again will sell direct to the public and will machine any wheel in any offset/stud pattern/centre bore you like (within reason).

I dealt direct with Compomotive and they were spot on.

There is nothing funny about a rimjob Matthew, it's a very serious act and not one to be taken lightly.

For £60 collected I've got a whole car set of bluestuff pads. The fronts are a third worn and fit the RS calipers but the rears are new and boxed.
