I'm sure they can (and do) take a higher impact happily but if they're only rated to a certain speed then can imagine the legal implications? Don't actually see why they should make them withstand a higher impact. Rated to 70mph. For what weight of vehicle? 3.5t van? Also angle of attack etc etc.f*ck me most people can't drive properly on the motorways as it is - increasing the speed of the cretins isn't going to help. Seriously tho, if there was no speed limit how fast would you really go if you were on a long journey? I for one on a long haul wouldn't be doing much more than 80 anyway regardless of what the speed limit was ________________________________________ My old man wrote me a letter from prison once. It said if you don't want to end up in here, stay away from crime, women and drugs. Trouble is, that don't leave you much else to do, does it? |

I must admit I try burning it then realise that my fuel is going down too quickly then go back down to about 80 for economy. That said it is about time they gave the motorist something. In Germany I generally sit at 130 kmph on unrestricted anyway. Depends on traffic etc.________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

In the company Honda I sit between 85-90mph depending on traffic.
