Might be lewis, all being well you might be lucky though!Cooper's bringing his car tommorow Dan, but thanks for the offer. Better comparison of ground clearance from old brace vs new brace for those with low cars: Fair old difference, if it fits ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Big thanks to cooper for spending a few hours over here tonight so I can check the fitment (well, 10 minutes fitting the brace and I might have kept him talking for a few hours......and now he wants some Fox dampers )The rear tube is just a sliver too tight and touches the pipe securing bracket that hangs down on the sump, so I'll tweak the jig tommorow/saturday and all should be well. Tried to get a little too much ground clearance, but ah well, little tweak and crank some out. ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Like I said earlier:quote: Hoping to match the OMP ones at around £55-60 It really depends how many I get done per batch for the powdercoating costs, the more I do, the cheaper they are, but plan on about 60 squid and it won't be far off. ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Must be the buggest group buy I've seen (maybe time for a mod to move it to 'parts for sale' rather than 'wanted')Phil is there potential for getting one of these delivered along with a ptfe gasket, if you go ahead with the other group buy currently accumulating? Don't know if this matters now, but you could use my Rallye to test on, being so close and all.Although you'd have to come here as it's off the road at the moment. |

Shouldn't be a problem Dave, although I need a few more for the gaskets yet really.Cheers for the offer Luke, if Cooper's busy after it's altered I might nip down just to check the fitment again before I weld it all up. Right, thank to luke I got to check fitment again with the tweaks - and I might have bored him to death about shiny bits, sorry - nice and tight fitting bar it's a touch close to one of the sump brackets (I've tried to keep as much ground clearance as possible by shifting tubes forwards) - doesn't touch but it might if someone has tired mounts - but as it's just to tidy up, I can sort that out when I weld the jig solid tommorow Then it looks like being late nights and caffeine ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments.
