Yes it was a tapper, ran fine and didn’t miss a beat until all of a sudden I lost power and threw a hell of a lot of white smoke out. most of the damage to the piston is off the stem of the valve. I could tell there had been work done before, found missing bolts, different head bolts and the cam pulleys labelled.
Whats the best way to clean my inlet manifold out? It’s thick of oil and dont really fancy putting it back on till I clean it.
i have a spare block that am on building up now and chrisd306 is supplying a head for me so hoping it should be back up and running soon.
while its off the road am taking the chance to remove the a/c as it doesn’t work, but then again whos does?
also moving the battery to the back and fitting an oil catch tank. Just little bits and bobs for now.
