Looks like what happened to mine. Bent valves causing it to tap. Eventually valve head came off smashing a hole in piston and filling inlet manifold with oil. Couldn't see a thing out the back window there was so much smoke! |

Yep new engine... Just in the middle of putting it in at the moment but ran out of time yesterday and top engine mount bush is broke so gotta order another. |

well made a start on mine tonight then my mate turned up wanting me to lower his car. was going to turn him down untill he got his cash out thought oh well if your paying anyway after that i got my 6 up on axle stands, front end off, oil dropped and inlet manifold off to find 1 little problem: all inlet valves looked fine except that one the inlet manifold and air filter was full of oil. not going to find out the rest of the damage till i get the head off. ________________________________________ Clicky: [url =http://www.306gti6.com]click here[/url] remove the space between [url & = |
