Saw a nice indigo 106 (think it was a rallye) in the Arnison at McD's on sat night. Few lads in motors there, wondered if you might have been there?

Laugh my ass off you no i could have kept up, just i already had been pulled that day and got 3 points and i didnt no the roads or where i was going... now it would have been a different story on the track tho Wink i dont want to get rid of my 6. i Love my 6 even tho its always broken

PROBLEM:
pressure building up in cooling system
water is bubbling when the car is running
exhaust gasses through red top
white smoke out of exhaust

SUSPECTED PROBLEM:
head gasket
cracked head
cracked block

anyone ever had this problem before?

White alloys or steels?
I'm sure this one had white steel's.

Looked low too but it was about 10pm, maybe later so pitch black and couldnt see the condition really.

Where abouts in town do you go? Bigg Market with all the other radji's?! Laugh

I should buy it back off you now that it's (almost) finished and put my engine in it. Big grin

don't take this the wrong way but its about time to flog it or go down the PAM approach, with the dosh you've bunged at it you could have paid someone who knew exactly what they were doing to sort it. this is the HG gone and won't be a coolant airlock that wouldn't pressurise the system. These lessons have been learned over a fair amount of car ownership LOL

Guess i'll be slumming it in the Laguna for a while yet. Xmas is going to nail me to the wall so shouldnt be thinking about buying cars tbh.

I'll give you a shout next time i'm headed to town and grab a beer and an ogle with you. Big grin

had my car up my mates garage today got alot done Laugh my ass off stood talking and didnt get anything done to the car except weigh it. weighed in at 900kg on the dot Cool still got the fiberglass bonnet to fit when it finaly turns up along with the rallye aux belt kit so should be able to shead more weight there.

as for the engine it looks like i am going to have to remove the head and get it checked to see if its warped and have it pressure tested. hope its ok or i will be in need of a new head yet again
