Not realy got much done today. front end is now on instead of just hanging on. i did want to get my seats in today but it looks like to much of a hassle on so bleeded my brakes instead, went out and bought a pressure bleeder. how much easyer is it with one of these recomended by jeffers .car has been running for a couple of hours today, fans kicking in as normal, engine sounds fine only problem i am having is with my battery cut of switch. must be faulty. also pulled her out and give her a wash, 1st time in a long time silver wheel: new painted wheel: taster of both: ________________________________________ Clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |

eddy_gti6 wrote: You should not have shoulder straps bolted to the floor behind you. This is very dangerous. Try and think of the dynamics involved if you were to have a crash. A forward load on the shoulder straps would create a downward load on the seat, then your shoulders, then your spine... MSA blue book states that shoulder straps should be as close to horizontal as possible. Best option is not to crash, but if you do, you want your belts to protect you, not to cripple you. i am not going for 100% track car , my seats aint FIA approved or are my seat belts, this is the only mounting place for them at the minute untill i get a cage in and then they would maybe moved to be fitted on the the cage. this is just a temp harness as i am after new ones asap as i only have the 1 for now and non for my passanger seat, interedted in the 5point harness but not realy suitable for everyday use. i will see what comes up when the time comes to buy something. the car only gets used to get me to work and back and maybe for a bite to eat, other than that it sits in the back graden the rest of the time ________________________________________ Clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |

Racing or not I wouldn't want to have a shunt on the road and crush the seat either Tbh, they look like they're at about 45* anyway? Do they go to the back seat mounts? ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. TBH they look to bolt to the forward part of the rear footwell, so maybe 10-15 degrees off vertical.I'd at least bolt them to the rear seatbelt mounting points personally. ________________________________________ Bye bye Sundance Kid |

That is where they are bolted to. they dont reach the rear seat mounting points, i am hopefully getting new harness soon as these are just cheap things that i had lying around in the shead ________________________________________ Clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |
