Yes she is alive and she is comfy. i have only had it sitting ticking over, not had her out for a run yet as i still have my seat brackets to make and need to bleed the brakes. there both jobs for today tho. just got in from night shift so gona stay up till i get them done.

i did have a little problem when i got her started. cut out and wouldnt start, just kept on turning over. thought f*ck SAKE!!! not another problem, turned out to be an O ring on injector 3, good job i have spare injectors with O rings on Big grin might even finish of painting my wheels today aswell if i can be bothered to rub them down and hopefuly my fiberglass bonnet should arrive today aswell. also bought a rallye aux kit from midlife Thumbs up so i can finaly loost that big heavy a/c pump

hoping to get up to the Hot hatch Xmas cracker on Sun 5th December up at knockhill if everything is ok but all depends how things go over the next month

You should not have shoulder straps bolted to the floor behind you.
This is very dangerous.
Try and think of the dynamics involved if you were to have a crash.
A forward load on the shoulder straps would create a downward load on the seat, then your shoulders, then your spine...

MSA blue book states that shoulder straps should be as close to horizontal as possible.

Best option is not to crash, but if you do, you want your belts to protect you, not to cripple you.

EDIT see here page 162 paragraph 46.

i am not going for 100% track car Laugh my ass off, my seats aint FIA approved or are my seat belts, this is the only mounting place for them at the minute untill i get a cage in and then they would maybe moved to be fitted on the the cage. this is just a temp harness as i am after new ones asap as i only have the 1 for now and non for my passanger seat, interedted in the 5point harness but not realy suitable for everyday use. i will see what comes up when the time comes to buy something. the car only gets used to get me to work and back and maybe for a bite to eat, other than that it sits in the back graden the rest of the time Smile

Racing or not I wouldn't want to have a shunt on the road and crush the seat either Big grin

Tbh, they look like they're at about 45* anyway? Do they go to the back seat mounts?

TBH they look to bolt to the forward part of the rear footwell, so maybe 10-15 degrees off vertical.

I'd at least bolt them to the rear seatbelt mounting points personally.
