The projekt is in http://www.peugeot-sport-club.com
But the forum is locked and you have to pay to be a member.

But here is a presentation of the car with some info

The last pic its only the inlet that is new.
But with that inlet it is bigger injectors and a new ecu management.

So say around 1,5k for 400hp....

But my friend that build this car has a peugeot workshop and his father was the first one in sweden to do the mi16 conversion to a 205. So the knowledge and tools he have.

just becuase a SC kit has been made for the gti6 and has been reliable, doesnt make it the "best" conversion.

i would sooner have a Turbo on my 205 than an SC, and i'm pretty dam sure for 4k it can be done and make much more power than 250bhp.

there are a lot of SC blinkers here,

dont get me wrong if a SC kit comes up cheap i will buy it, but i'm currently looking at turbo's too.

and fitting a t3 or t34 on a gti6 engine would be making around 300-330 on around 20psi

You would get more power until it detonated and melted the pistons. The low boost SC kits run 7 psi of boost for a reason. If you got a decompression plate you could probs add more boost though.

on a std engine, i'd not run much boost for the reason you have mentioned,

it would need lower C/R to run 20psi

but to run a turbo on lower boost would still cost less then a SC kit

iirc the supply is on the front of the block near the oil temp sensor, blanked usually and return there is a blank at the back near the lower engine mount.

having owned and built loads of different pugs with various engines from s/c mi16 , 8v turbo's and 16v turbos

also driven loads of others and none so far have came close to the 16v turbo but for a cheap alternative a 8v turbo can also be made into alot of fun

Dont know about 400bhp, i think we are turning the boost down to get some miles on it, should be good to see it running full power.

where did get the ex manifold made? and rough price?

is that a mi16? unlet you using, any reason over the gti6 one?

that a t34 turbo too? if so which ex housing you running .48 .55 or .63?

edit to add, it looks very much like a t34 front housing Smile
