If you really had OCD, you would have used two disc retaining bolts to make sure it was correctly balanced. Just saying...________________________________________ |

Fronts fitted, just waiting a hand to bleed them up correctly during the week.Old set up behind the wheels.. 283mm standard Mintex discs, with OE calipers and OMP road & sport pads. 5 mins to remove and then a piece of cake to bolt up the 288mm Xantia V6 Tarox 44 groove discs and 406 Coupe brembo caliper. The tarox discs sit perfectly central in the caliper and the combo fits like factory parts would, as you'd expect. New genuine Pug 406 v6 pads and new retaining pins/anti rattle clips fitted, then the braided brake hose. Some after pics, showing masses of caliper clearance with the Compomotive VLM 16"s (as you'd expect with them being a tarmac rally wheel) and they look the absolute bollox. Gonna get them bled next week and then see if they deafen me...... ________________________________________ 1999 Astor Grey GTi-6 OEM+ (now gone...)2004 Aegean Blue 206 GTi 180 (also gone...) 2006 Skoda Fabia vRS in Sprint Yellow honestly3k wrote: Do you wrestle for a living matt? Im looking for more and more subtle touches with the Astor Shed now and the french style pressed plates were a bit obvious, so i have had a new plate made for the front. Before and after.. Its 520mm wide (as standard) but 85mm deep as apposed to 111mm as standard. Makes the front look a bit different without screaming out "im modified!" For the eagle eyed, yes there is a fault with the plate on the left hand side, which i didnt notice till i fitted it and peeled the plastic sheet off the front, so im waiting for a replacement from the supplier ________________________________________ 1999 Astor Grey GTi-6 OEM+ (now gone...)2004 Aegean Blue 206 GTi 180 (also gone...) 2006 Skoda Fabia vRS in Sprint Yellow honestly3k wrote: Do you wrestle for a living matt? Looks really good - "it's the little things", someone said on another thread here recently. Couldn't find the size option on the fancyplates menu though. ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye SOLD |
