Thought you'd done something to the track car and was eager to see what. Dissapointed. You're getting a -1 from me and a re affirmation that, Owain's a nob

Reading this post from start to finish today has just summed up everyone's life with a Pug (It is a brilliant thread BTW.) Start out not really knowing what you are doing, pump all your money and time into it until you get to a level where you sort of know what you are doing and make it into a car that you and everyone loves, start getting bored, want something that doesn't rattle and fall apart because it is French. The next step is selling it and buying a BWM diesel because it is more practical.

Na, the next step is just buying the diesel because it's more practical. No selling on the Pug involved.

    Maybe.

Unless I give up and sell it, of course.

The only thing with something like that is that you won't appreciate how much you loved it until it is gone, by which time you've traded it for some 'Magic beans' with an old man you met at a market. You'll inevitiaby end up buying another Peueot because once you've had one you can't buy any other make of tidy car, since they are so cheap (You lie to yourself thinking this, then spend 1k on brakes for a car worth less than 1k) and fun to work on (This is also a lie to yourself, the scars on my hands are testimony to that)

That will then be the start of: Track Cars for Dummies, Part Two (Intermediate Level)

I would love to see how fast the forum vultures will set in if you do break it (Shotgun Wheels Smile )

It all depends on work and whether or not it passes its MOT in a few months' time. If it goes through fine, I'll probably get it on a lay-up policy and leave it until I have more time and money to track it.

If it doesn't pass, I'll either SORN it or break it I guess, depending on what it fails on.

Is there anything left that it can fail on, you've changed almost all of anyway!

Drive it where?! It has no heating, I take it around for a quick blast every now and again but my insurance policy is so restrictive I'm really only allowed to take it to trackdays, which cost money.

In saying that, we've just booked up a £99 day at Woodbridge on the 16th Feb to remember what it's like having joy in my life, so we'll see if it holds together Yes
