That's one big reason why its not cheap to get manifolds that work properly, and why most that actually work look like a work of art ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Ive got one sat in my garage doing nothing. Will check its condition, may as well put it up for sale. As mentioned but backed up by Mr horsepower himself Rich-W. I was going to put it on my 6 but he told me I wouldnt see any gains over the flow of the standard mani. so no good for the supercharged gang but would better suit a N/A tuned 6. ________________________________________ "I need to 're-mortgage' my six" |

Thats the maniflow manifold, same as spoox are selling. Bare in mind that they were originally designed for the btcc spec engines and actually built by Tony Law Exhausts in Leeds for Mountune, who were the original developers of the 306 btcc engines. When Longman took over the engine builds he started getting his exhausts from maniflow. Exhaust manifolds are like inlet manifolds, you have to design them very specifically to match the cam profile and engine characteristics to make the most of the pressure waves bouncing about. It is massively complicated, and as far as I am concerned there is no correct answer, a bit like suspension geometry, spring rates and the rest of car design, although I don't even pretend that I am smart enough to understand even half of it! It's best not to get in over your head, otherwise you start looking into things you can't afford to be loooking into!________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

I have this manifold fitted to my rallye and it made one hell of a difference compared with the standard 1. The car is much more responsive and pulls much stronger. I did have to uprate the lower engine mount. The price seems to put people off but if you can get one second hand i would reccomend it. |
