Weekly resprays FTW! I can see it getting lower and lower every time with the extra weight until the springs snap.

Duly noted. But at the end of the day it's just a colour.

Sigma owners are all so needy Laugh

Now that's something you don't see everyday!

From the pictures it looks quite good, they say the art is in the wet sanding/polishing so let's see how that comes out.

You certainly have balls mate.

Wetsanding/polishing is something i'm good at, had plenty of practice with the carbon parts

Then again if you spray paint well you shouldn't need to sand LOL Disadvantage of outdoor spraying though is flies. There's a couple of the buggers landed in it when the gloss coat was tacky so i'll have to sand the buggers out.

Jimmy i'm very tempted to go for a yellow P3 bootlid to be honest. Was worried there'd be too much yellow with the rub strip colour coded but to be honest, with the graphite grey badges and the tail lights it breaks up the colour nicely. Maybe a nice "SkinnedAlive" logo on the lower corner of the bootlid. Need to get a black number plate surround too though as the two yellows clash horribly

Always thought the Rallye should have been available in this colour Yes

Impressive LOL , I know what you mean about the flies, took all my internal house doors off once and painted them in the garden, few hours later came back and there was hundreds of the buggers stuck to the paint,

What type of paint did you use and have you lacquered it?

Jeez, no-one ever spares a thought for the poor flies. Imagine if you died in a street and someone just sanded you down until the road was flat again.

You should cut out that part of your panel and give it a proper burial.

yep, that's just down to practice though. Good sprayers get a flat finish, my gun's crap so i just battered it on with a view to flattening it

Hows this steering wheel holding up? They're a lot cheaper than OMP etc and I might treat my car to one at some point.

Lovely steering wheel to drive with, I have the 330mm one and it's perfect size. Makes the steering feel slightly heavier which is a good thing imo. Only problem is the suede goes manky after a while Sad

Spraying some more bits ready for fitting

Taking shape

Just waiting on the slam panel arriving, and need to figure out the wiring for the crystals Doh

Looks smart.

Initially thought it would only look right having the whole shell including bonnet colour coded Sundance but that bonnet does look nice and shiney Smile

Think before you had made it look a bit 'ratty' looking and untidy, depends if thats your thing but personally i prefer a nice clean and sharp 6....

Be good to see the end product!

Cheers mate

Aye I let it get a bit of a state, the idea was right in my head but decided it was time to sharpen it up. Also wanted to add to my repertoire of skills so painting was the obvious choice Yes
