hi guys...

ever since my last track day at snetterton in november last year, my 6 has unfortunately seen better days, after spinning a shell...

but now the engine rebuild is well under way, and am hoping for it to be completed in the next 2-3weeks... Smile

already had the longmans head with piper cams running before, but now ive done some more replacing...

87mm wossner forged pistons/ pec rods
valeo clutch
oil pump
crank
rich_w billet flywheel
rich_w crank, idler, tensioner pullies
rich_w uprated headgasket
acl uprated main/ bigend bearings
mocal 16row oil cooler
manifold wrapped and silcone sprayed

hoping to have a little more power when it done, and then its back to track...

anything ive missed, thats worth replacing/ uprating whilst its in pieces..?

Smile

cheers,
tom.

87mm pistons? Has the engine been bored out before or did you just decide to go straight to 87mm for a few more CCs?

haha Smile well my car has been off the road for a while... but as of the weekend you may start seeing me about!

yeah i just decided to go straight for the 87's, thought an extra few cc's wouldn't hurt Big grin

going to leave the engine for a little while and work on suspension, but then it will be some high lift cams and throttle bodies on the shopping list...

tom.
