£45 posted, you get everything you need, the two plates, the formed cup and the nut welded on. It needs careful lining up by marking the exact position of the existing hole BEFORE you cut the clearance hole. If you just drop the plate in the cup and then weld it in the chances are you wont be able to get the mount to line up witht he hole in the engine support arm. Its a simple job but needs some thought or else it can go badly. You need to take special care when moving fuel pipes away so you dont cause leaks and if you have A/C then care must be taken not to damage the pipes with heat or when you drill/grind the clearance hole for the welded nut to drop through.

This lining up is only needed when the original cradle is cracked right?

In my case it isn't cracked but the nut went oval for some reason So I believe it's more a case of drilling out the original nut and dropping in your cradle? Or am I mistaken?

(going to attempt doing this myself tomorrow Roll eyes Unsure )

What I do is draw a crosshair mark intersecting the original hole AFTER sanding off all the paint and galvanise in the area to be welded. I run this line up both sides of the cup and the back. I then do the same thing on the new section bfore putting it into place. Once you have drilled out the clearance hole and dropped the plate in you have no way of lining it up except those marks, its all curves and rounded edges at the bottom ant the replacement bits are made by hand so there is no way I can garantee that they can be just put in and welded wherever they land. If you mark correctly though its a piece of cake.

Well I took Daveyboy up on his offer and I think the price is great considering the time and effort that goes into each repair.

My car feels much better to drive and the awful knocking noise is long gone Smile

Worth the drive and I would not hesitate to recommend his services.
