Really enjoying this (and the 911) thread...look forward to reading about your progress.

Do you plan to keep the Pug standard or tweak it like the 911?

Maybe they are in fact the same car and the shed is a diversionary tactic Ninja

In a break from 'fettling' Mrs Tea I decided to get a bit of black undercoat on.

I have painted this thing four times now, wet flatted between each coat.

painted that bit infront of the windscreen.

Started putting the proper black on.

I need to wet flat this off again.
If it looks ok then I can go at it with some lacquer.

I hate all this rubbing down, my fingers have turned black.
I just don't want it to look like some bloke did it under a tent in his garden.

Cheers dude.

I really want to start putting this together soon, before I forget where everything goes.

I got home early today, so gave it a quick flat off with 1500 then a couple of coats of lacquer.

under the arch got a bit too.

I have f*cked about for hours doing this, I don't reckon Pierre went to that much trouble when he built itRoll eyes

It looks sh!t in the pictures, but better in real life.
I'm just going to show Mrs Tea.

Seriously impressive thread my friend, I was pleased enough when I managed to get my wipers off without screwing anything up. I'll be subscribing to this one.

Today Mrs Tea has had me gardening.

I did sneak off and put a few bits back on the car when she wasn't looking.

Slowly heading in the right direction.

I can't see the finish line yet, but it has to be just over the horizon now.
