It will be limited to a similar power as the other C38 based conversions (but capable of 550 BHP +).The main gain will the boost coming in earlier and stronger - so more mid-range, more torque, and a less peaky power curve. The final power output is really what Andy wants - but we've advised him to limit it to 450-475 BHP. This is for reasons such as driveability and reliability - it's all a compromise at the end of the day. ________________________________________ Contact Details:rich@lynxpowerengineering.co.uk 07732 822546 |

It will be restricted like rich's which may seem pointless until you hear that it should pack it's punch earlier in the rev range and have more torque low down, well thats the plan! Not that it needs it ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

out of interest what running gear would you use to make it 4 wheel drive, it would have to keep the 6 speed theme. ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

To keep engine mounted as it is? Evo would probably be easiest. Forget about the Mi16/T16 as you'll just blow a hole in the 'boxes.________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments.
