As some of you no last month i got my 2nd gti6 Smile
i set at 3am on the 30th january for my 690 mile round trip to pick the gti6 up
The car was a non-runner due to water damage caused from the previous owner driving it through a deep puddle. With the car being a non-runner i got it for a bargin,

lookin good there, so what would of caused that con rod to bend how it has. surely driving through the puddle wouldnt cause that?

water doesnt compress at all, something like 0.001% will compress.

the pistons fired, tried to push against water, and the end result, as above Smile

Hydrolocked, must've been a deep enough puddle for water to be sucked in the air filter, end result, bendy rods Blink
