Gr,
CJ
Thanks.
I don't have too many plans for the engine - probably just a lightened flywheel & induction kit + a general clean.

daveyboy wrote: How long before this is a moving vehicle mate? Quite a way to go yet I'm afraid. Aiming to have it down off axel stands by end of May, but the engine will not be fitted until a few months after that. Main delay is getting the money saved and the time to fit it all back together. ________________________________________ Peugeot 306 Gti-6 Track car (soon to be supercharged)Project page Blog |

Managed to finish assembling the rear beam today (just the callipers to go on a bit later). All fully refurbished and lowered by 30mm (if my calculations are right) Here are some photos – hope you like… Before: Stuart ________________________________________ Peugeot 306 Gti-6 Track car (soon to be supercharged)Project page Blog |

There has not been much progress as I have been away with business for the past couple of weeks. However managed to trial fit the seat yesterday so we can plan where the rear brake pipes are going to go. The seats are certainly a ‘snug’ fit – after putting the car on a diet it looks like the cars getting its own back and putting me on one too! I hope you're flexible, the combination of winged seats and a front hoop that goes nowhere near the a-pillars is a recipe for disaster ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

The alarm was separate system from the rest of the car so there were no issues removing it, the only thing I am not sure about is the immobiliser. Managed to fit the foot rests and most of the new brake lines (notice more red paint!).Next job is to fit the rear beam and finished the rear brake lines. Shortly followed with assembly of the front suspension parts (ie new bearings, track rod ends, ball joints, coilovers & top mounts). Hope this weather gets a little better for bank holiday weekend. personally I would have used a bulk head fitting from rallye design instead of a gromet for the brake line into the car. |
