You can't buy the old style cambelt setup from Peugeot now, just the new one that has to use a different water pump. Interestingly Peugeot are very nearly the cheapest for the clutch, but I'm getting a Gates Laguna/Clio belt kit off ebay for ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Ok Miles, I may well be in touch.Having the flywheel looked at when it arrives to see if it needs skimming or can have any meat taken off easily without weakening it. Should have somewhere local to get the shafts done as well, will find that out later (there are a couple of options). Also trying to find out how much to advance the cams without causing any damage. Bit more torque wouldn't do any harm. Parts should be mostly all arriving tomorrow ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

No bloody post due to the snow, or deliveries into GSF. However Peugeot had everything bar one part and thats now having to come from France. Apparently not many people need V6 Gearbox mount parts ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

I will update this post as I weigh things...ML5 Gearbox - 50.5kg with selector fork GTi6 Gearbox - 40.2kg with selector fork GTi6 Inlet Manifold Complete - 9kg GTi6 Exhaust Manifold - 5.7kg V6 Inlet Manifold Complete - 6kg GTi6 engine with plugs, cambelt aux tensioners, PAS + alternator, flywheel and clutch (no wiring, most water hoses) - 145kg V6 - too heavy for the scales (over 150). V6 Standard Flywheel - 8.1kg (mine is expected to be about 7kg - safety first!) V6 Standard Clutch - 7.2kg Not easy to weigh the driveshafts but as standard I would say there is about 3kgs more on the V6 ones. Most of that is the outer cv joints. Mine are likely to be lighter as they will be a hybrid. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |
