adam b wrote: Very, very tempted to just cut my losses at the moment and break it Keep the faith! I know what it's like to hit difficulties, run out of time, hit brick walls and get completely f'd off with a project... and there's that urge to just cut it loose (or set fire to the bloody thing!) but as the old saying goes, nothing in life worth having comes easy.. and you know there'll be that moment when it finally fires up/the first time you really open the taps, the smile that'll creep across your face and it'll all have been worth it. </pep talk> PS - if you're that busy, are you going to have time to do those 406 bits for me? Or at least an idea of prices? Actually I'm not in a massive rush, but would like to get them done within next month or two, as a surprise for my dad to get the little niggles on his car sorted. ________________________________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch....Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. Ha! They are sat on shelving here in the new unit now - just waiting to have a photo taken and sent to you. Thanks for the pep talk. Its trying to fit everything in now as I can't use any weekends for a bit. Crazy thing is though its still going to be worth more in bits!! Guess it will be a bit quicker than a 406 dTurbo estate////// ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Don't give up that easily! I know at the end you'll end up buying an other 6 / Rallye if you break it, as you'll miss it... than what's the point? ________________________________________ VTSbest 60' : 2.272 best 1/8 ET : 9.375 @ 74.42mph best 1/4 ET: 14.603 @ 97.047mph Team Trackday™ |

Can you buy some low value long T&T shitter to keep you going 'till you can finish the rallye. It would be a shame to give up.________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

Number of times i've wanted to overtake something doing 40 in the 406 and theres only been a half mile gap in the traffic. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Yeah, but the thing is i'd probably stop doing anything on the rallye. Need the urgency or it'll just end up the same for a year like my 205. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

I found my Late ZX push type manual adjust cable earlier, I think it'd be the same fittings as what you've got there but might be a different length edit, how random, its 10mm longer than a 205 one ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Very, very tempted to just cut my losses at the moment and break it Adam, we just went through all you are going through with my 205 v6 but it really is all worth it mate.
