Bicycles have moving parts. My Filofax does not LOL

Still had no luck so I refitted the existing leads which I thought were knackered - runs fine.

Confused as to what the actual issue was - but basically there was a missfire issue with existing leads. Fitted new ones. Problem solved. Problem comes back. Fit old leads. Problem solved.

Maybe a connection issue somewhere. I shall keep an eye on it and set fire to it if it happens again.

Tempted to get another coil incase there's something up with one of the outlets and it vibrates loose or something.

Thanks for your help, member of the month June 2014.

could well be the coil, they tend to show symptoms when hot before totally breaking down and causing a misfire from cold.

That's just what i'm going to look for later, a coil pack and leads. Already bought the AMP mini timer connector. Will try and get a Valeo or Bosch coil though as i've had failing coils in the past with other cars.
Stalling cars that won't start straight away and have to be pushed off the road are no fun!.

Bit of a thread revival. I'm running a generic Corsa B GSi coilpack and Halfords HT leads on my car but after the last race I found the HT leads are working loose, I could lift them out with 1 finger.

    Are Magnecor the recommended brand?

It's not crazy modified but still fairly (ported and polished head, cams, bodies). The performance gain will be minimal, I'm more after something that fits better so it doesn't come off as it'll ruin a race if it does

    These should be ok? http://www.larkspeed.com/shopper/i/G4588/Peugeot-306-XSi-2-0-SOHC-8v-Magnecor-8-5mm-KV85-Competition-Ignition-Leads

I've ordered those leads, will see if they're the right ones when they arrive. Pretty pricey though!
