I bought mine in july and the weld recently cracked completely from the middle box. In the end I forked out £12 to have it removed, then took it to a stainless steal specialist to have it re welded costing £50, and then another £12 to have it fitted again. Disappointed with the scorpion systems fabrication but still love the sound. No local garages had stainless steal welding equipment.________________________________________ stevenage black gti 6, 198bhp |

If its the Scorpion with the larger middle box get some skid plates/supports welded onto it My welder said stainless exhausts are prone for cracking, and one reason rally/competion cars use mild steel exhausts ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

If your talkin about the olive between centre and rear section, they are mild steel I think. I got one from my local factors for about £1.50 iirc, been on for 2 years now without a problem! ________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber!
