iv emailed scorpion via their website, no reply yet

my centre sections has cracks in it around where the pipe meets the centre box

exhausts blowing and causing car to stutter and rev

anyone had experience with speaking to them? contact number or that?

any do's and donts? are they just going to try and get out from replacing it under warranty?

cheers
rus

yer thats what happened to the owner before me. he had to do this several times. the center boxes are a chap design and i think they might have even changed them now. but he had to pay to get the exhaust posted back to them. he was with otu a car for quite a long time as scorpion dragged there arse. he eventually got the part back and they credited his account. but they wnat proof of purchase and the garantee number or slip.

i went to ripley twice with a shot centrebox, they redesigned their reinforcment aorund my box with reinforcements in 3 places..... whether it made it to the shelves is another thing... in the end i had a straight through made up for my troubles and kept my middlebox for mot/track

Ive got the sasme system on mine. Noticed it was smoother straight away. When first fitted it wasnt massive amounts louder than standard, been on the car for bout 6 months or so its gotten louder but not as loud as some. Not too droney on the long journeys either.

Mine fatigued and cracked too, I knocked up some gusset plates to stop the flexing after I had fixed all the cracks, been good as gold ever since. Smile

I had the original prototype (sp?) new design centre section when mine broke for the third time. I have still got the system on there but it's not quite right, definately split somewhere, am yet to investigate properly.

It will keep going till you gusset it mate, the endplates on the cans are too thin and they flex, sooner or later a crack is inevitable.
