Got my set fitted today so here's a few pictures for anyone else thinking about it. Old BD Combi's vs new Hi Spec 330mm Discs: Test Fitting: Fitted: I'll take better pics when I get round to washing the car, First impressions are very good, I'm bedding it in so taking it easy but the feel is excellent and there seems to be loads of stopping power. ________________________________________ Pics of my 6My 6 on Google Video thanks to coxy306Xsi |

Thanks for your help Stu.How much are the discs and pads roughly? I didnt know 330mm discs would fit the V6 Brembo caliper? Btw Ash do you do any other colours? My Calipers are Black not sure what colour will go best with a Manstone car tho Hopefully these dont squeel like a pig in a vice either? ________________________________________ Team 'No Longer A 306 Owner'Team 'VTEC' Black Honda Civic 'EP3' Type R Moonstone 306 Gti-6 - Died at 82k Black 306 HDI - Sold 08/08/2010 at 102,229 |

Cheers Stu I doubt I still get a discount at CompBrake as I've not bought anything from them for a while; I do get a 10% discount at HiSpec and they are happy for direct buyers of my 310mm rotors to also have the discount, I'll need to ask them if they will do the same on these 330mm rotors. With no discount the 330mm rotors are |

Thanks Ash!!! Ahh i see, i was wondering if it was something like that. You learn something new everyday as they say! Whats the advantage of having it as a rotor ie fitting the bell? Is it just so it all fits? Sorry if thats a stupid question... Is this in a FAQ anywhere? I take it these shouldnt squeel then according to one of your other threads? ________________________________________ Team 'No Longer A 306 Owner'Team 'VTEC' Black Honda Civic 'EP3' Type R Moonstone 306 Gti-6 - Died at 82k Black 306 HDI - Sold 08/08/2010 at 102,229 |

The bell can be aluminium so you get less weight + better heat transfer away from the disc.________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Cheers Phil. That's right they don't squeal due to the different resonance of alloy/steel. |
