I can never understand why people would buy these as you can get much better cam's for less or the same price new which will give you more power etc

yep thats correct , they have some surface damage but will go again or he wouldn't have sold them.

I am interested in buying these for my Rallye but I don't want to have issues because of the damage to the pistons.

are these ok to drop in as they are or would I need the tops/faces re-finished?

So that's an admission as to your former life then Steve?

Personally, providing you don't go back to your previous behaviour (whether on this forum or even on Ebay) then there's no point in banning this account.

As for comments on this thread, remember it is up to a buyer to make sure they know the quality and condition of what they're buying before parting with any money.
