any reasoning behind keeping the front original seat mount? Yeah I'm a stupid size, means no one else can really drive it too! The steering wheel has now been spaced out so it's closer to me, and I've also dropped the column to suit. It's better to keep them in until after the new mounts are fitted so everything stays true, have also seen the floors pull away on quite a few 306s when they are removed so I may just keep them in. Sure I can trim them to keep the weight down though lol. ________________________________________ FOR SALE205 Turbo Technics complete and 306 Rallye Race Build breaking. |

Cheers. It's the way we always do them, or use some thin walled box section. I wouldn't want them to break if I crash!________________________________________ FOR SALE205 Turbo Technics complete and 306 Rallye Race Build breaking. |

Looking good Rikky.Had our machine shop cut the standard spring platforms off the front legs today so that I could sleeve them and run 2.25" springs. Got Chadders to do the welding after work, then I painted the bits that needed it. Trial fitted the top mounts, the spring top hats in the pic below will need drilling out to fit, the fronts can be fitted once the strut tops are modified for extra camber. Will be stripping my spare rear beam this weekend, so the rears can be fitted when it's built back up. Also ordered all the brake fittings and bias valve today, so I can get rid of the ABS soon! ________________________________________ FOR SALE205 Turbo Technics complete and 306 Rallye Race Build breaking. |

It's beacuse the damper's are upside down, if you remove them you'll see a very thin shaft in the tube, Have you re-valved these as the 205 settings will be a bit soft ________________________________________ 306 Rallye Sptint/Race Car, 205 CTI 1.9 8v to name a fewRoad, Track and Race/Rally car preparation to your personal requirements, Full Workshop & Diagnostic Facilities New and Second parts, from Plugs to Turbo's We now also carry out Routine Servicing www.pugracing.com & FB Page, https://www.facebook.com/PugRacing Ebay; http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Pug-Racing-Shop 2012/2013/2014/2019 Class Winners at Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb & Joint overall, Class record too along the way, |

Not re-valved them yet, will see how they are first as they may well be ok with all the weight loss. If not I'll get them done!Got all the brake bits and an oil cooler kit today, and some nice Mintex F2R front pads. ________________________________________ FOR SALE205 Turbo Technics complete and 306 Rallye Race Build breaking. |

Probably about the same to be honest! Only difference being that discs seem to last longer with the Mintex pads.________________________________________ FOR SALE205 Turbo Technics complete and 306 Rallye Race Build breaking. |

Wheels arrived last week, getting some 15mm spacers made before fitting. Also started to make a foot rest this weekend, started by moulding the floor. End product should be in clear gel carbon.Floor prepared for moulding First layer of gel coat Second layer of gel coat Glass applied ________________________________________ FOR SALE205 Turbo Technics complete and 306 Rallye Race Build breaking. |

Foot rest just needs it's final prep and then the mould can be made this weekend. Should have a product out within a week or two time allowing. Chadders started the cage tonight, rear feet are the first parts to be fabricated: ________________________________________ FOR SALE205 Turbo Technics complete and 306 Rallye Race Build breaking. |

Will be added for the drivers side once I'm happy with the seat position, as they have to be at a certain angle if you wear a Hans device. Will use eye bolts for the passenger side as the seat will only be fitted for track days.________________________________________ FOR SALE205 Turbo Technics complete and 306 Rallye Race Build breaking. |
