Been getting parts for car this week, Bilstein Group N suspension, which I will convert to coilovers for the front, rose jointed eccentric top mounts to allow me to run 3-4 degree negative on the front, K&N 57i kit, Black Diamond grooved discs all round with Mintex F2 and 1144 pads, 6 ATS DTC 15 x 7 wheels on order, and a nice OMP dished wheel as fitted below. Will be removing my carbon/kevlar Corbeau Revolution and TRS belts from my old car tomorrow, will need to fabricate some mounts before it is fitted though! Removed all the airbag crap when fitting the wheel, and fitted the K&N. Sounds loads louder, but more importantly saved a load of weight! ________________________________________ FOR SALE205 Turbo Technics complete and 306 Rallye Race Build breaking. |

Haha it's looking like next year now Chris, I ain't gonna rush it, and I'm trying to get the little VTS finished at the same time!Yeah that's cool Davey, we are there most evenings till 7-8ish and weekends if we aren't racing. Pop up when ever you're free. Think Liam and Dan with the Longman powered 306 near you are popping up soon for me to sort the wiring out so come up with them, be good to see your car. I do indeed Richie, yeah it's a E46 M3 being built for Britcar, Dutch Supercar etc. Good price for the GEMS kit, half the price MoTeC gave lol! ________________________________________ FOR SALE205 Turbo Technics complete and 306 Rallye Race Build breaking. |

Got the rest of the sound proofing off today, and the dash and heater box out. Removed all the wiring from the dash, including the fuse box etc, plugged it all back in and now it won't start! Infact the fuel pump won't even prime so I'm guessing it might have an immobiliser issue or a loose connection. Anyone else had this problem? If anyone has the wiring diagrams for the light and wiper stalks plus the blue and yellow dash plugs please let me know, as I'll just re-wire the whole car and fit an Emerald ECU... Don't really want to do this at this stage of the build, but if there are loose connections etc I'd rather get rid of them now as it's the last thing you need in race car! Anyway on a brighter note the car is now ready for the cage, and if I do re-wire the car at least it will make going out to the strut tops easier! Have a wiper assembly from an AX to fit to make it easier still! Will also get the seat mounted first so the cage can be built around it. ________________________________________ FOR SALE205 Turbo Technics complete and 306 Rallye Race Build breaking. |

Chadders did all the fabrication for the drivers seat today, so if anyone wants the old Rallye ones please let me know before they go on eBay! We cut away the old mounting points around the exhaust tunnel, stitching it back up where required, and added some tube to mount the seat rails on.Everything was tacked into place and once everything fitted correctly and all our measurements were tied up, it was all welded up. Next the mounting tabs were fitted to the tubes, and then we trial fitted the mounts. Also added in the harness eyes where needed. After everything was finished I removed the mounts, gave everything a coat of primer, then refitted the wiring, filler cap pull and the mounts themselves. Then fitted a seat to get home as I had forgotten mine, and fitted the 6 point TRS harness. Job done! ________________________________________ FOR SALE205 Turbo Technics complete and 306 Rallye Race Build breaking. |
