That sounds more realistic.

Does anyone know the performance figures for a supercharged version? It would be interesting to know the improvement with a 50% increase in power.

Never measured it myself, however with the way the power is delivered it allows you to go from first to second at full throttle without it lighting up the front tyres, as long as the car is pointing in a straight line and its dry though never had a big issue in the wet it really works well.
I haven't some great lumps of rubber on either just some Yokohama Parada 195/50/15 and at

Low boost is about 5.5's to 60, maybe a little less if you tried really hard (a tenth or two maybe), really does suprise some cars, i've had "what the f*cks under the bonnet?" more than a few times LOL

Do you think the conversion would be suitable for a daily used car? I'm guessing there would be quite a strain on the transmission?

Perfectily fine as a daily driver, in fact if you drove it like miss daisy you would never know how quick it is and would just feel nice to drive, the transmissions on the boosted 6's have all been reliable apart from Rich's who is running a lot more power than most of us LOL

Thanks for that, i'm really considering getting this done and that was my only concern. I know it's a bit boy racer-ish but I always love the thought of a standard looking car that would really surprise the local chavs. Wink

I've gone through a gearbox, but that was my own fault TBH.

Hmm interesting, i know at york i ran a 6.75 0 - 60mph sprint. No mod's bar an open cone KnN, and even with shitty P6000's which just span and span and span . . . Roll eyes

However, Jib, with a piper and decat ran 6.4 0 - 60mph. Again the rest was a standard car.

I know mine and his are absolutely neck and neck with each other through the gears aswell !

LOL it does Alex, but hey im just saying what the slips read ! We were surprised, but then look at waynes (midlife) sig, and apparently his are all on a standard engine too ! Weve found that theres quite a difference between some of the engines in terms of speed ! Dunno

I'd best hang my head in shame with my 7.1 0-60 at york then Sad
My excuse is that the car was 100% standard engine wise with only a few non essential things stripped like passenger seats and spare wheel.
