I bought the car in June last year after looking around for a GTi-6 to replace my 106 Rallye that was for sale.

I had my mind set on a GTi-6 due to being able to afford one for little more than my 106 was worth, but when looking around I came across something a little more expensive that I couldn't resist.
It was a 306 Rallye, in the same colour as my 106, and just in my budget. Although it had 124000 miles on the clock, the car came with a huge folder of history and the added exclusivity of being one the Peugeot press cars.

My aim for the next six months is to give it a few upgrades to get it ready for my next trip to the Nurburgring in August, but keeping all the original parts so that I will still be able to return it to 100% OE spec should I want to sell it.
When I first got it, spec was as follows:
K&N 57i induction kit
Ferodo DS2500 pads
Kenwood headunit
Goodyear Eagle F1 195/50/15 tyres
Flamebeater fire extinguisher
Everything else was totally standard, though I took the rear wiper off about 15 minutes after getting the car home.

So far I have fitted the following:
Griffiths Engineering quickshift
OMP upper strut brace
OE Clarion headunit (as I wanted to be able to use the CD changer and steering column controls)
OE spec Pirelli P6000 195/55/15 tyres (only because my Eagles were bald and these were

shame really it didn't go to an enthusiast to keep looking mint

Then the slam panel had to be loosened off to squeeze it past the inlet manifold! It was pretty much a days worth of a job.
