The GSD3 replacments - The F1 Asymmetric are not made in anything smaller than 17" iirc, don't look as good but are said to be better! Odd that they don't make them in anything smaller so can't exactly be call replacements...The GSD3's are no longer in production and yes your correct, Camskill can't get hold of any. I'd say your quote from etyre is your best bet or mytyre still have some but at ________________________________________ P1 306 GTI6 X2P2 306 GTI6 P3 306 GTI6 205 GTI 1.9 Peugeot Sport Club UK Gloucestershire Group Leader |

I like mine and have had no reason to question their performance apart from really dire conditions where any (good/decent) tyre would struggle. The amount of Toyo haters for non standard size tyres is bizarre. Maybe someone hasn't explained it fully how pug decided on tyre size. ________________________________________ Black X Reg PIII.VGTi 6 A4212 pt 1 A4212 pt 2 Searching the streets of Bristol for 1.36p/day.Joint Kent Leader |

Good point i've never tried 55s in the T1-Rs, heard good reviews from a couple of members now. However the F1s are the best tyre I have used so far and can't go wrong. Just a case of finding the buggers... |

Thats like saying Peugeot got the ride hight and damping right, they pritty much did for normal driving but there is better out there. At the end of the day it comes down to the way you drive when choosing a tyre. The toyo is fine for most people and will cope quite well as will alot of other tyre, for example the exalto PE2 But if you drive your car that bit harder (and I really do) then you want that little bit more then you go for the F1's. Or go that bit further with 888's/A048's that I also use. ________________________________________ P1 306 GTI6 X2P2 306 GTI6 P3 306 GTI6 205 GTI 1.9 Peugeot Sport Club UK Gloucestershire Group Leader |

They decided on the tyre size by going by 20 year old tyre technology for comfort, damping, maximum load, etc.Materials have improved a massive amount since then so not particularly relevent in the 55/50 debate... ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. I rate the T1R's never really had any issue with them. Matt, if you get stuck getting them fitted let me know or drop mr friendly MOT tester a text and he should be able to fit them for you ________________________________________ Seat Leon Cupra FR / 306 GTI6 / Breaking 205 GTI6 / Caterham 7 / Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI LWB Sold: Fisher Fury - Laguna DCI Estate - P1 306 XSI - E30 BMW 325i Baur Convertible - Daihatsu Fourtack - Suzuki GSXR600 - 205 Rallye |
