Obviously most of the Lynx ones have been on Chip Wizards dyno, although we've also had some dyno'd independantly.

Results have ranged from 244 to 261 BHP I think, on a range of rolling roads.

If it doesn't make the power you want, you can always get the Dremel out and attack the restrictor ring Laugh

Obviously, at completely your own risk Whistle

Exhaust system is the biggest driver for the output power from our experience.

Would there be such a big difference when using the generic map than a custom one?

If so it may be time to sell a kidney! LOL

how do the low boost ones compare to standard for exhaust noise, i remember you saying that after you charged yours the noise became considerably more?

Also which exhausts produced the higher bhp results?

Ity depends on the exhaust how noisey it will be. The 'charged cars make slightly more noise than a standard one would with the same exhaust system. An element of the extra power will always be noise.

The exhaust syatems that make the most power are the most free-flowing ones like Magnex, straight-through centre pipes also help.

No, the generic software is very refined, and unless there's something overly different about your conversion there would be little value in a custom remap.

With the generic software all cars but one [the 245 BHP one] have made over 250 BHP and decent torque too.

Laugh my ass off

I did say in the first post that it may have been a bit premature.....Whistle

I didn't think it would be 3 years and counting though! Erm?

Still, I have made some progress with it -

Sorted the front suspension (B8's, Eibach's, Roller Bearing wishbones etc...)
406 Brembo's and Ash's 330mm kit (Minor improvements on the way. Ninja)
Solid engine and gearbox mounts
RichW's alloy pullies

Big thanks to Meirion (Welshpug) with regards to fitting some of the above. Thumbs up

Need to get the rear beam sorted out soon so that it matches the uprated front stuff.

The only bits left for the 'charging side of things is the Intercooler and associated pipework and the actual 'charger itself.

Still saving my pennies, so unfortunately progress is still going to be pretty slow. Losing my job again on Friday hasn't helped either. Dry Sad

Will keep this updated as and when things progress a bit better. Smile
