done a few things with the 205 over the weekend

had the car running briefly friday, which was nice Big grin

now just need to put it all back together
sorted the drive shafts,
wishbones
n/s Brakes plumbed in and bolt up
o/s brakes bolted up but not plumbed in
intercooler and rad brackets made up

so here are some pics

had some alloy pipe welded

but wasnt happy with it (after i had painted it ...DOH!)

so have made up a new pipe which is in the pics below

the bend on the left hand side, gets sucked in when the engine is running, have two bends and didnt realise the one i been using is the softer of the two, so will cut that to use and put some reinforcement inside. i think once the car is road legal i will take it to a fabricators and get a proper pipe made once and for all Smile

but at least it's starting to look like a car again now Smile

some more pics Smile

still a few things left to do, but light is getting pretty bright at the end of the tunnel now

took the 205 for an mot today, and to say i was nervous was an understatement

it did seem to cause a little attention at first, well, as soon as the mot tester removed the bonnet ...lol

stayed with the car the whole time as i getting paranoid now

indicators decided to randomly stop working ...DOH, thankfully was was a wiring plug, so will remove that

he found a loose nut on the bottom rose joint... OOOPS,

but it Passed and what a relief,

went to post office and got it taxed

fully road legal now Big grin

took the mrs our and she crapped her self....lol so thats was fun Smile

roll on the 23rd now Big grin
