did a track day at colerne (24 july 2010)

first time on an airfield track, TBA i like this one, not boring at all and the track was smooth, and could really push the car to
it's limit's (and a bit more if you wanted)

i got black flagged around 3pm and the guy said they had been monitoring my car all day and it was getting louder and louder
they were fine and i said it wasnt the exhaust as thats 88Db (their test from the day) and it was my induction so i gaffa taped
the filter a bit and changed gear around 6500 instead of 7000+ (you see a white scooby on the last vid, i was actually faster, but as i was short shifting
he had the edge, i was gutted.....lol

here are some Vid's and pictures from the day Smile

well been a while since i did and update, few little changes Smile

took the engine out to change the gearbox back the 1.9 and change clutch

though after i took the clutch off, i found it was brand new, so didnt bother

first of all i sold all my light C5 steelie wheels,

so far i have bought 2 sets of replacements

set 1

set 2

the main reason for the change, is for a slight change of calipers that i'm trying

need to get some decent pads but will use whats in there for now

i have bought a new steering wheel, as i thought the car deserved one Smile, so bought this

also decided that innacurate speedo just doesn't do it, so have decided to ditch the standard clocks and the SPA gauges
and bought a stack dash Big grin , got a it for a good price and it's the 8310P so does pretty much everything

oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, fuel level, fuel pressure, oddometer and various other features Smile

so i have bought some carbon fibre to mount it, but here is a trial mockup useing cardboard

you think thats enought?

well no..lol

one last update to all that Big grin

i have sold the ITB's and DTA ecu Sad bye bye sound Sad

and bought this setup Big grin

all hoses and silicone will be going black (awaiting deleivery )

can fit the panel back on to, so it's kinda back to standard Smile

what ya think ? Big grin

That's an AP rear caliper is it not? - what size pistons does that have?

Looks similar to my TVR one.

The clutch is 3 years old, but ita like brand new, if it slips or causes an issue I will do something about it

The cooling system was great before, obviously there is an intercooler in the way now, so will monitor it Smile
