Here you go -

Looking good Tom Cool, can't wait to see the pics with the wheels on.

Still need to bed mine in properly but haven't found anywhere suitable to do it properly.

Glad you like, yellow does look rather cool Yes The crossover pipes are original by the way, sorry i missed that one Doh

As for the drawing im not sure if this would fit with other wheels Dunno I have ET18 wheels and it is as tight as tight gets Laugh Let me do the work with giving them a trial and if alls well i will look at the options for future kits Yes Thumbs up

If however you just need help with fitting something else just send me a PM as im always happy to help Thumbs up

Just cut the grommet with a knife, slip it over and then push it into the holder with the slit facing inwards.

I know they're good calipers, but you still have to press the pedal! Razz

Well i had a fiddle at the weekend trying to get to the bottom of the issue i was having and im glad to say i found the problem Yes Smile

Unfortunatly Phil's brake extensions are perfect for Brembo's but not for the AP's and they were stopping all the fluid getting through to the caliper as well as leeking slightly because of being designed for Brembo's Yes I had a chat with Phil and it seems the AP's will only work with a Banjo type connection (as in their kit Doh) so im going to get some of those on order and finally my brakes will be complete and i can do some tests and a price overview Ninja I am over budget sadly Doh

Yeah tell me about it, cant go anywhere right now Doh

Thankfully i don't need new hoses though, the orginal Ap Kit was designed to work with the original hoses so i can just order the Banjo and Banjo bolt along with a few little gaskets and i should be good to go Yes I will be selling my Brembo kit at some point in the future so will chuck the extensions in with those Phil so they wont be wasted Thumbs up

Just check the flares haven't been distorted from being screwed into the AP's, they might leak if so.

If they have, let me know who buys the kit and I'll send them some out FOC so you've still got a full kit to sell on. Smile

Cheers Phil, having looked at them i think they are fine as their is a nice recess for them to sit in the AP caliper, i will however check beforehand Thumbs up They are a top bit of kit just a pain i jumped the gun and expected them to work with the AP's Doh Lesson learnt Laugh

UPDATE

So last week finally i managed to get all the right parts needed from the brake suppliers, one special AP Racing Banjo and Banjo Bolt to suit Yes

At the weekend i set about swapping them over with Phil's extensions which was a pretty messy affair, brake fluid was going everywhere Doh Laugh

Anyway got them on and bled the system (again! Roll eyes) before taking the car for a quick test spin.... They work properly now, hurrah Clapping

First impressions are the pedal feel is far far superior to the standard setup and even with the slightest touch the car will pretty much stop Yes I refrained from braking to much as i need to bed everything in properly once the car has had its MOT this week, once thats done i will take her out for a setup spin next weekend and then once bedded in i can give some proper feedback Yes

Thanks for everyones help on this, would have had trouble overcoming some problems had it not been for some users of this site Yes Thumbs up

I will have a look at how much it has cost me today and post up, the intial budget of
