Have you any trackdays planned Paul? I'd be interested to know how they do on track. The one thing i've suffered with (twice) in Germany was my brakes. Even running DS2500's and braided lines I suffered. So I'm keen on some decent stoppers that'll fit within standrad wheelsSmile

Thats cos you were like.... "a little more... a little moree.... shit! BRAKE BRAKE BRAKE" LOL

this looks a great little upgrade, nice work! the projects section really was a good idea LOL

but since your using a std disc diameter and std sized pad is the absolute braking power going to increase much as i always thought pad contact area was the deciding factor Dunno

but they look good, fit behind 15' wheels and as you said they feel more progressive so all in they are def a worthwhile mod (my 2 centsLOL)

22% more pressure on the pads though.
I guess it's one of those things that you have to experience more so than anything

If our resident spacer maker and yourself can get a set of 7mm or whatever spacers made up, with appropriate bolts, and throw that into the kit as well with a total delivered price, I might be interested too...

As soon as I know the size spacers Paul can get away with I can get a price for them Thumbs up

ok, been out tonight as i have just replaced the rear caliper and bleed them through again.

F**K there good, tyres even make noise LOL Abs isn't to hard and it brakes perfectly straight and true.
And that's just bedding them in LOL

Has highlighted a few issues, i have a leaky seal in the master cylinder and a annoying click up front in the suspension somewhere.

So far so good. Pedal is a tad soft at the moment but i'm putting that down to master cylinder seals and friction greening in. Darren confirmed my thoughts tonight so will do the seals as soon as i can to give a fair comparrison.

I have just read this absolutely excellent thread thread. (having failed to find someone to make some wilwoods fit and having gone the GTi 180 route- with good results but for more money.) How have things shaken down and are you now in production?

Any more takers on this.

There is only going to be 1 planned buy.
Hopefully they will start to be made within the next few weeks.

Only need numbers for now.

If, like my car the front is quite low, the spacers would cause even more scrub on the arches wouldnt it?

Hi Welly, do you know if Willwood do a rear caliper that would go on a 306 and be a bit more effective than the standard setup. (Got brembos on the front and I'm very happy with themBig grin )
