Well, I was going with an RX8 engine, but it won't have the grunt to keep up with the supercharged boys, and I didn't want to turbocharge it, so ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. I knew a man with the engine who decided he needed something smaller over a pint or two ( ), and I happened to have the V6 and a supercharger available (which I really did pay a tenner for) from an abandoned engine plan for the buggy, straight swap job, whether I can get the money together to fit it this century or not is another matter though.________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. We shall see, I've already got the stuff for the rotary engine ready so I can fall back on that for a while if I get bored Anyhow, I should be getting the delivery of the steel for the braces at the end of this month ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Have a look at the photos on here (its discussed a bit too) The new ones have a bit more clearance actually On that note, if anyone has one of the last batch that they haven't fitted yet (or don't mind removing for a short while), that'd be the best for me to make the jig back up off rather than getting a car up here again. I'll replace it with one of the new-style ones with the extra ground clearance and pay the postage for anyone happy to do that. ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. I haven't been able to get one of the old ones back to make a jig from, so I've got to wait until we have chance to get another '6 up to the workshop to measure up from.Hired help had cut the old jig up 'cause he needed some steel for something , daft b*****d ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments.
