Iv seen a few threads about this but i need to know about this
I am buying KW varient 2 coilover kit and am probably going to have it lowered between 35-50mm, i am thinking of buying omp upper and lower strut braces, will this make a big difference to handling?
And will the lower strut brace hit the floor on speed bumps etc because of the car being lowered?
I have also read that the lower will foul the sump, does phillipm still make the lower ones that do not foul?
Cheers

Theres no point in fitting braces IMO - it's not exactly as if your going to ever need them Wink

You have never driven the same car with and withov one have you?

an upper makes a hell of alot of differance even with a standerd suspension set up.

Turn is much sweeter, makeing the cornering even better

why wont you need one?
All cars suffer from the suspension struts moveing.a quality steel brace will eliminate this.

So swampy would you recommend just buying the upper, then waiting for a phillipm lower to pop up?

And it will be of benefit on any set up as it stops the turrets flexing and thus the suspension geometry remains as it should!

upper braces just helped with basic solidarity feeling and a slightly more positive steering feel.

Im guessing lower braces will only amplify this even more.

Don't want to hijack your thread Luke, but I'm considering an OMP brace at the moment. I always found the lower to be more effective than the top on the 106, is this not the same for the 306? And is there a reason that no-one seems to use the OMP lower brace on a 306?
