Here is my project which I started about 2 months ago.

My first part of the project was get a cheap shell, so I found a XSi with slight panel damage, it was a Phase 2 XSi 16v in Nile Blue.

The first thing I did was to strip the interior, so I removed every plastic panel and peice of carpet, all seats. I removed the alarm, re-wiper. Then I thought to myself I need to remove as much weight as posible so all creature comforts had to goUnsure

So I removed the head lining, omg the car sounds like a van now you shut the door LOL

Then I read on the forum's there is a a lot of weight behind the dash, so I spent 2 hours removing the dash, ripping the sound deadening out then re-installing the dash.

Pics to follow soon....

Pics will be added soon, it is an ecosse conversion I had in my other car, but I removed the engine so I could have some fun with it, hence my track car, it has a Opcom Supercharger producing around 230 - 240 bhp, which is plenty especially when its got no weight.

Hopefully when finished it will be rapid

If on standard internals then that figure is than, much over that and the engines cant take it, most people know 250 is max, would rather sacrifice 20bhp and have my engine still intact but am sure rich w ones will be fine, not running power all the time

Exactly I have had the engine now for about 4 - 5 years and not one problem, it gets hot but tell me what performance cars dont get hot, this is something I will be concentrating on now its in my track car.

Uses a positive displacement charger doesn't it?

Heres a couple of pics I took from FCS a few years ago when I was first considering supercharging/boosting the 6. I even considered Ecosse's T16 conversion Shock
